Volunteers really make a difference. They are really important to the success of the National Park – they are an inspiration, giving valuable time to enhance the National Park for people and wildlife.

Project topic: Land

We support a network of organisations delivering tasks with volunteers across the National Park. Volunteers are involved with conservation, practical maintenance and helping to inspire visitors to enjoy the National Park. In addition, we deliver a programme specifically for young people aged 16- 25, where they are invited to carry out some exciting conservation tasks to make a difference and also have the opportunity to learn about the wildlife, landscape and other special features of the area.

We recruit volunteers to join the National Park periodically, please have a look at our website for more information.
